What Is Affiliate Marketing? aka : What will I be doing?
In its simplest terms affiliate marketing is pre selling a solution (product or service) that solves someone’s problem.
All we do is lead someone with a problem to a solution.
That solution can take the form of a DVD or an automobile.
We don’t sell anything.
We don’t stock anything.
We don’t even talk to customers or deal with complaints!
Most every merchant, good or service offers affiliate marketing programs.
Wal-Mart, Best Buy Electronics, Ruth Chris’s Steak House, Amazon.com, Apple Computers, etc. The list of those offering affiliate programs is almost endless. Go to very bottom of their web site or to their site map and you will see a link to "Affiliates" or "Partners".
As an Affiliate Marketer we research to find people ( Niche ) that are in need of a solution ( goods and services) that interest us and then simply funnel traffic to merchants.
We use a myriad of ways to locate people with problems and then funnel traffic ( People).
We use web sites with enticing, well researched copy and images that strike a sympathetic chord with our visitors.
Visitors do responded to a well thought out, relevant ad , article and web site.
